FOR THE URGENT ATTENTION OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL DOMINIC GRIEVE QC

Dear Mr Parish and Mr McGinty,

I protest at the apparent attempt by the Prime Minister today (at Prime Minister's Questions) to influence public opinion and more seriously to influence the coming decision of the Attorney General re the Dr David Kelly Inquest case.  I trust that the Attorney General will let the Prime Minister know in the strongest possible terms that this ill-advised intervention by him constitutes a serious interference of due process of law.  I also trust that the Attorney General will seriously consider resignation should any further attempts be made by the Prime Minister to influence the coming crucial decision of the Attorney General.

I should be grateful if you would kindly acknowledge receipt of this email and confirm that the Attorney General will read its contents.

Yours sincerely,

Stephen Frost
